The 3/50 Project isn’t an “all or nothing” campaign asking consumers to stop shopping in chains or franchises. Instead, the message is about balance. We would like to encourage you, our neighbors, to direct an affordable $50 of your normal purchases to three locally-owned independent businesses each month. We all appreciate the amount of revenue local businesses return to our communities that helps maintain the structure of what we know and love about our area. To maintain that structure, we all need to do our part and consider our purchases and investments accordingly.

You can learn more about the 3/50 Project by using the link listed above or click on the “3/50 Project” link at the top of the page when visiting Tonka Times Magazine online.
